I've been playing around with the idea of launching a store for a while now. I may be a stay-at-home mom, but there is always this pull in my heart to "do something". You know what I mean? I'll love being a wife and mom, and I am thankful I can stay home with my children, but even in this crazy busy season of life, I dream about ways the Lord can use me and my passions to encourage others AND provide an extra income for our growing family.
So today I'm launching my new Etsy store with two products that are so very close to my heart. I've poured hours into this project, and I can't wait to share them with you!
I started out simply making scripture cards, much like the Thanksgiving cards I offer free to email subscribers. However, as I prayed about the verses and searched the scripture, I realized I waned more than just scripture cards. I wanted to be share these verses in a way that helped women understanding the whole passage and how to apply those biblical lessons to their everyday life.
So what started out as a simple project turned into the Christ in Christmas Scripture Cards and Devotionals set.
The devotionals are Christ-focused and include a lot of scripture. The Bible reading will help you put the key verses in context, and each devotional includes additional passages and application points to help you make connections between the Christmas story and the rest of the scriptures.

Now most of the items you see from bloggers these days are e-books and downloads, and I love those things! However, I think there is something sweet and exciting about getting an actual product in the mail. The cards are printed to order, and I look forward to making them just for you. I know that if I do the work and drop them in the mail, there is a much greater chance that you will actually use them and hopefully be blessed because of them!
However, I also know that many of you (my online friends) would much rather just download something and print yourself, and so I added a second product to my store. These little tags are just a smaller version of scripture cards sold with the devotional set. Add a book ring (you can get a set of 8 at Walmart for $2) and you have a grab and go scripture ring, perfect for throwing in your bag or hooking on your purse. Let them be your reminder to focus on Christ this Christmas. Take the time throughout the day to stop and pray over these verses.
They also make great gift tags. These small scripture tags are an easy way to add some color to gits and holiday treats. Purchase the file once and print them as many times as you like!
So there you have it! I'm excited about the new products, devotionals, and card sets that, Lord willing, I'll be able to add to the ProverbsandPacifiers store over the coming months.
