Look out world! My baby turns two years old today. Of course, he's not my baby anymore. He's my wild and crazy toddler.
I love having a toddler! It's hard, but in a good kind of way. He tests my patience and keeps me on my toes, but I love knowing that I am slowly becoming the mother God wants me to be.
In fact, if I had to pick theme verses for the next year, it would be James 1:2-4.
Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.
That's right. One of these days I'm going to be a mature (perfect) mom with her head on straight and all the answers (haha!). Until then I'm going to count it all joy!
Here are a few picture of our most recent joys.

Climbing under the bars at the zoo. Those aren't important. Right? |
 |
Monkey See, Monkey Do {Grandpa is the monkey!} |

Coloring with dad. Rooster just likes to dump the crayons out and put them back in the box. |
 |
Being silly before bed, and yes, he wore his sister's hat to bed. Wouldn't take it off! |
 |
Learning to shoot Q-tips through a straw. |
 |
Sleeping with a dinosaur. |
 |
Pure joy over a homemade slide. Who needs little tikes?!?! |
 |
The fun of building a tower is in knocking it down! |
Happy Birthday Rooster!
Happy birthday to Rooster! What fun pictures...I'm going to have to get my camera out today and take some pictures of my kiddos. :-)
