12 Tips for Cloth Diapering {In Public}

9.09.2013

Here's the deal. I love using cloth diapers. I do not always love using cloth diapers in public. Disposable diapers offer a certain level of convenience when it comes to being out and about that you just don't get with cloth. With disposables you can just wrap it up and throw it away. Cloth diapers take more time and forethought.

However, 2 years into our cloth diapering adventure I do have a few tricks that can take some of the hassle out public diaper changes, so join me at Purposeful Homemaking and check out my guest post 12 Tips for Cloth Diapers {In Public}

  1. Hi! Stopping by from Mommy Moments! :) Went and read your guest post - great advice. I haven't had much trouble with cloth diapering in public, other than occasionally forgetting my wet bag!! Oops! :) I usually put her in a disposable if I'm going to leave her in the church nursery or something, just so I don't have to bother the workers with teaching them how to use cloth and having it not go well in case they do it wrong! Haha...
    Look forward to reading more from you - following on Bloglovin! :)

  2. Hello lovely! I found you via My Joy-filled life. This was a great post! Thank you so much for sharing. I love all the funny looks people have when they are (a) watching me change my kid or (b) attempting to change my kid. It's so foreign to them, but we wouldn't do it any other way now! A few months ago, we had disposables on hand & my hubby changed our son into one & we couldn't even figure out which way it went. We are so well trained on cloth, it's not even funny. lol. I loved reading your post. Thanks for sharing!
