What Baby Wore

1.13.2013

I love having a little girl. Bows, dresses, and lots of pink! And while I may not be the most trendy of moms, I do appreciate a wardrobe that's fashionable and functional.

Take for example Teacup's first Sunday outfit. Can you say pretty in pink!

For a casual night out with friends, we choose bright colors and of course polka dot leggings. Fun, fun, fun!

And for those quiet evenings lounging at home, she is cute and comfortable in a sweet little onesie with an elastic bottom. Perfect for those late night diaper changes.

Now, lest you think Teacup is the only good dresser around here, let me show you what Rooster wore to church this morning!

My little man donned his first bow tie in an ensemble that would make any girl's heart melt! He's getting to be such a handsome little guy.

Of course, when 8:00 pm rolls around there is only two words in our fashion vocabulary: footie pajamas.

Seriously...everyone is wearing them! They are warm and comfortable, and better yet, you don't have to worry about losing your socks in the middle of the night. Win, win.

Well, not everyone is wearing them. Dad would rather stick traditional pj's
But I guess we'll let him. He's big enough to keep up with his own socks.

P.S. Did you know Wal-mart now has footie pajama's for adults? Ahhhmazing! I want a pair just so I can get a picture with the kids...and so my feet don't get cold!

  2. Little girls are SOOO much fun to dress up! I have an (almost) 5 year old daughter who has a better sense of style than I do and a 3 month old baby girl who loves wearing hairbows and pretty dresses :) Actually, my 2 year old son loves wearing his big sister's pink tutu and her dress-up jewelry too, but Hubby's not too thrilled with that, LOL.

  5. Hehehe, so cute. My son hates socks and footie pajamas... but he's always on the go and doesn't want to be slippin' and slidin' around! Congrats on your little cutie; she is adorable.

  7. Your children are adorable! I love your fashion choices! I used to have fun dressing my two (now grown) sons in bright primary colors until one day they refused to go out of the house in bright reds, yellows, and greens! That's when I knew my fashion fun was over and I was destined to buy clothes in dark blue, brown, grey, and black! BUT, I now have a precious granddaughter that I get to dress in frills and bows... It's so fun!!
    Thanks for the fashion show!
    Blessings to you ~ Mary
